did I win?????

Guess what we got today?

Yep, snow!!

At first I thought it was hail, but no, it was snow.

Several snow showers throughout the day.  Didn't really stick though.

So, did I win?? Am I the first person in my part of blog world that has gotten snow this season??

Could be a wild winter here in more ways than one!

Stay turned for an update in a few weeks :)

Well, you beat me! Here in Denver we've got pouring rain, but it's supposed to turn over to snow by morning. It's been dumping snow up in the high country for several days though...

You win! Definitely no snow here (south west UK), just rain and fog.

My goodness, no snow here at the Jersey shore. In fact we were at the beach yesterday. The weather has been spectacular!

You win ! Here in Ohio we have had a very mild beginning of November. Day time temps in the 70's. I'm thankful it hasn't snowed yet. It will come soon enough. Glad yours didn't last.

Hmmm....well, I live in Ohio and while it's been mild this week, we did have snow two days in a row about three weeks ago. But I live in the snowbelt, so we always get snow in October.

We are praying for a mild winter here!

Holy moley! White stuff already?

Beat us too up in the north and you are welcome to it all. No snow works for me.

Oct. 28 snow in MN, much like yours, snow showers coating grass overnight that was gone next day. And this week two days in the 70s. I wouldn't mind mild winter (double digit temps) and a base coat of snow for winter enthusiasts. Glad things are going well.

Well you certainly beat us in Canada. Right now we are having fabulous spring like weather. Even had to put the air on during the day it gets so warm.

You know how to feed the cow! I always get caught in your cliff hangers, I like it.
As far as I know you are the WINNER! I'm not competing this year here in central Florida. (hahahaha)

Nice pictures thought (He said with the A/C full blast!)

We had a few flurries coming down last month but they didn't stick at all. Not even accumulate. So you did beat my area!

A few weeks?!?!?! Aaaargh!

It was so nice to watch the snow showers on last night's newscast. There's still a little girl inside me that wants to run out and play in it. Unfortunately, the 65-y/o gal I am is too chicken to try and drive in it!

Yep, you beat me. But then again, it's not like I was really in that competition (although, it did snow in Burbank a couple years ago. We know because everyone filmed in on their phones).

You beat us here in Kansas! But they are saying that maybe this coming weekend. I hope they are wrong!

Jerralea said...

You certainly won - my area was so warm today that I thought about turning the a/c back on - but I didn't.

It was 71F here that day...

You win!! And I gladly allow you to the prize*!

How cool!! I wish snow would hurry up and hit here!

It just rained here off and on all day. Much colder. First day for us to burn the wood in the wood burning stove. After my morning shower I went into the living room. Tom made the fire and played Bing Crosby Christmas carols! Love first days.

You win and that's one contest I'll gladly give to anyone but me! Last year I had my fill of snow and cold. Like the other Ohioans comments, we've had lovely warm weather and I'm hoping for a mild Winter....time will tell! Enjoy your white blanket of snow!

We don't get snow in my town.

Wish we were getting snow instead of rain here. It has been raining every single day.

One of my blogging buddies in Utah got snow yesterday too. We got rain. Today in Virginia the temps are supposed to reach 80 degrees. Then a cold front is coming through. Weirdness.

I am a Canuck and am living in 20 C weather yesterday and today. You do win!

I can't believe it but it does look pretty!

We had a light dusting a couple of weeks ago. It was snowing heavy for a few hours, however the ground was so warm it didn't stay over night. Of course, we are in northern Wisconsin. Thankfully, Indian Summer arrived and we have had beautiful weather the past few days. My DH and son are working long hours every day to combine corn before the snow arrives and stays. Thank you for your picture.

Wow! Snow! Here in Georgia, USA, it is still very warm but the leaves are changing colors and winter will be here soon. Wishing you a nice weekend.

Jealous! All we've had in Scotland is howling wind and rain. I'd love a pretty dusting of snow.

Last week we got a rainstorm that left a little layer of *white* on the ground for about a day! I don't know if that counts, so let's call it a tie!! We are expecting some snow later tonight. I love the snow, how it makes the world seem hushed and peaceful.

So, let it snow, let it snow, let it snow.

(It's sure cold enough for it!)

GOD BLESS!

We've seen a few flurries but none on the actual ground. You win!

Chrys Fey said...

Snow! Gosh, it's so weird to think you got snow when it's like 90 degrees here in Florida.

It's going to be in the 70s again today....so you certainly beat us out. I love snow and icy trees...for a day! Then I want my roads clear so I am not inconvenienced! (In the south, 1/2" of snow will close the whole city down, we are just not prepared for snow!)

Elizabeth said...

Ooh! I love snow :) You beat me here in SE Oklahoma, we usually don't get any until mid-December.

Blue Grumpster said...

Snow????? Say it ain't so!

We haven't had snow yet. Lots of rain, but no snow. I'm really hoping it stays that way! :-)

No snow here. Still having very mild fall weather.

No snow here. Congratulations. Love your new bench.

Ah, that first dusting of snow! We had snow about a week ago, then melted. Haven't had the dump that stays yet, however expect it soon.

DMS said...

Crazy! Hope it is all melted now and temperatures are up a bit. :) The first snowfall is always a little magical.
