I'm back, did you miss me?

I'm back; been on vacation for about a week.  Did you miss me?  Most of you might not have even known I was gone; some of you did know for sure.  I tried to comment on as many blogs as I could, but they were shorter comments than I would have left and I noticed lots of typos on them.  I was using the tablet and while it is convenient, it is inconvenient for typing, especially if one is used to using a regular size keyboard.
I'm back so regular comments will be forthcoming onward and forward.

Had a fun week off:

Ate too much

Spent too much

Met up with a blog friend (we had a great time, hope you and hubby did too).

Looked at lots of houses.

Put an offer on a house, but withdrew it.  Multiple offers on it; looked like it was more of a flip type of house for investors than for us, so we'll keep looking.

Worked on my A/Z for next April; never too early to get a start on it.  Hint with the theme if you look at my header.

And......are you holding your breath?????.......can you believe it????

WE MADE IT TO SEDONA!!

Yes, to the correct city.  Yes to the "heart" of the city.  Yes we had a great time.

One of the best things that happened during the week off I'll write about in my next post.

Its good to be back. Hope you missed me just a bit.

Now back to the grind of work.........

All in all its a good thing though to work.......

(remind me of that tomorrow when the alarm goes off at 6 a.m.).

I had to do a double-take at your new header, Betty. (Hmmm....)

Honestly, I'm amazed how - midst all the excitement - you managed to keep in touch. A term I heard years ago, but I suspect it fits -- you, m'dear are a 'blogger's blogger'!

Yes, we had such a fun time with you and your hubby. Hope it won't be our last!

Bwtty,

Glad you're back and that you had a great time. Sometimes we're all allowed to eat and spend too much. And so glad you made it to Sedona at last! I hope it was worth the wait.

I know exactly what you mean by work. I've taken a PT job and also have to set the alarm for 6 AM at times, depending on the shift I'm working. As you say, working isn't an entirely bad thing. I'm just not an early bird and probably never will be.

I have to say before I am remiss, that I do look forward to your comments and appreciate them too. Sounds like you had a good vacation, but sorry the house hunting wasn't successful. It only means there is something much better waiting for you. It must have been wonderful meeting up with a fellow blogger. Can hardly wait to hear about one of the best things that happened. I'll be looking forward to your next post.

Hi Betty,
Great to hear you had a nice vacation. I agree with Mevely, you are a blogger's blogger.

Welcome back. I'm glad you finally made it to Sedona. Did you hike any of the red hills?

Continued good luck on the house hunting. We looked for almost a year until we came upon the right one. It takes time, but it's out there.

I'm so glad you had a good week and enjoyed different scenery! I don't like writing on tablets either. I'm glad you had fun in Sedona!

Welcome back! It sounds like you had a great time and maybe you will be talking about the Grand Canyon? Or at least your trip on the A to Z. House hunting is fun, frustrating, exciting and everything else in between. I am certain you will find the one you will both really like.

Glad you're back! I'm also glad to know I'm not the only one who ate too much and spent too much on vacation! :)

Good job on already starting on the A-Z! I'm in awe of your planning ahead abilities!

Also, so glad to hear you made it to Sedona. Can't wait to hear about it.

Glad you made it to Sedona in the end. I've not been away but I haven't been commenting much either, as my laptop charger conked out. All back online now though so I'm catching up. Look forward to hearing more about your adventures!

I love vacations!
Out of the 9 work weeks in Nov/Dec I am only working 4 of them. Lots of hunting and one awesome week in Cancun just before Christmas.

That's great that you had a good vacation. I've been a lousy blogger - I'm still working on posting my vacation from more than a month ago!

Crystal Collier said...

Yikes! Now you've got me thinking A to Z. Oh boy. What to do, what to do? Can't I get through Christmas first?

I always enjoy your 'views' because they're always so pleasantly presented! So, yes. I missed you;-)
So glad you made it to Sedona at last and that you enjoyed. I've been thinking of the A-Z Challenge almost since I finished the last one!
We've been looking for a summer home in the Pinetop area without much luck so far. On one quick trip we made up there from Tucson, we saw over twenty homes in a single day! We were so exhausted we skipped a second day of looking and just enjoyed mountain weather. I look forward to your next post!

I'm sorry, I didn't know but glad you're back. I often wonder where bloggers go, when I don't see them post for awhile - have they quit? Are they ill? Did they go on vacation? I also took some time off and went to Yosemite and Bodie. I've been so preoccupied lately - in my own world. I am trying to reJOIN the living....

You're working on A to Z???? Now I feel like I'm already behind. I have an idea but have not started organizing yet. OK, so I'm guessing your theme is Arizona from a tourism perspective, sights to see, that sort of thing. I was going to guess the Grand Canyon, but I can't imagine how you might do that unless you are going to name all the formations.

Sedona is a great destination! In fact, I'd move there, if July and August didn't exist.

Well. I'm sorry... but I've been a little absent myself.. but. Welcome back! I just love your theme and your new bench on your header. I want to sit there a while.

I'm glad you finally made it to Sedona!

Good for you getting started on A to Z! I've been thinking about getting started, now you've inspired me.

I hate trying to type on those impossibly small keyboards like a Kindle or ugh! a phone!

Sedona! I'd love to make it to Arizona one day. Colorado, too. It's a wish-list dream of mine. The Rockies and the Grand Canyon.

The right house will come along. It does take patience, doesn't it? I remember when were were looking years ago. Yeah...wasn't really all that fun.
