Dear......

Dear Quiet House, I sure like you during the day when I'm working.  Its nice to see you back after four years of being gone.  Thankful hubby comes home in the evening, but enjoying my time with you alone during the day.  Make sure you stick around for a bit this time, okay?

Dear Hill, you've made me winded and I could barely get to the top of you, but I'm not giving up.  I made it yesterday and I'll make it again and this time with not too much shortness of breath.  I will conquer you, not the other way around.

Dear Green Bay Packers, seriously, could you not hold it together for a few more minutes so you could have made it to the Super Bowl?  Thanks though for a great season, see you next year.

Dear Super Bowl Tickets, I thought it might be fun to see how much you cost since we live close by to Phoenix.  I was not amused that a seat in the highest of the stadium would be $2800 for one ticket.  Sorry, we won't be visiting you this year (or ever based on our budget).  Enjoy the game without us.

Dear Koda, hard to believe but its been a month today we said goodbye to you.  Still miss you like crazy.  You will always be our best corgi puppy.

Dear A-Z Challenge, April is coming soon.  I got my theme ready to go and sign ups begin Monday. I look forward to checking out new blogs.

Dear Blogging Buddies, I've said it before and I'll say it again, you are all the best.  Thanks for reading my blog and faithfully leaving comments.  May you all have a great weekend.

Love,

Betty

What a great set of mini-letters. And I had no idea Super Bowl tickets were that insanely expensive!

What a fun post, although a little heartbreaking about Koda. I'm so sorry about that.

And blogging friends are the best. Have a lovely weekend!

I enjoyed this post. I could not believe that the Packers lost! It sure would be fun to go to a Super Bowl but that ticket price is just crazy. ((Hugs)) You have a nice weekend too.

Aww...big hugs for Koda. :-( A to Z is ready to go for me...as far as the topic and MOST of the letters. I still haven't figured out a couple of the harder letters. I haven't pre-written it yet, either. As for $2800 for Super Bowl tickets..pure craziness! I don't even know when the Super Bowl is. First weekend in February?

What a great 'letter' to the Packers. I was so disappointed when they lost!

Funny, but Tom and I were just commenting (that) we haven't witnessed a lot of hoopala re. this year's Super Bowl ... and we live not all that far from the Stadium.

Speaking of football, what a shame about the Patriots.

Enjoyed your letters. And I know you miss Koda - so sad. That is a crazy amount for tickets - unreal! I may try to do A-Z this year not sure yet. And you are right bloggers are pretty cool!

When I was in high school the Super Bowl was played nearby, and I had a way to volunteer to be in the half time show. I turned it down. Didn't want the hassle or aggravation. Don't regret that decision for a minute.

Sorry you seem deflated about the Super Bowl match up! (Over here, parenting practices took the limelight.) Enjoy your peace & quiet, uphill walks, and weekend! Koda, gone but never forgotten.

Love your notes. I like a quiet house too. And like you, enjoy my time in it. The cost of those football tickets are outrageous. I agree, stay home and see the game on tv.

Betty, I am very sorry to hear you lost Koda. Very happy to see that you also are planning on doing the AtoZ again. And love the picture of bench with Christmas lights.

Hey what a great post. You do come up with some goodies. I was right with you. Neat, thanks for dragging us along.
I bet you do conquer the HILL. But you didn't have have to scare me with the ticket prices. THAT IS RIDICULOUS.
Amazing the wealthy (or something) folk in this country.

Thanks for a great read.

Hey! The format looks familiar!! haha
I was thinking about the A-Z challenge...I need to get busy and get some new stuff, that's for sure. How many years in a row can I use the same photos?
I parked on a hill today at work, and may I just say I hated every step up there when I got off work. Think I'll keep doing it though.

I'm glad you are enjoying your home. That is a blessing for sure. I remember the days when I was glad for some quiet time alone. Now I have way more than I need. Sounds like you have a challenge with that hill. When we camped, I really ruined my knee trying to walk the hill there and have learned my lesson well. It's not been the same since, so take care with your hill. Hope your weekend is a great one too !

Holy Moly! Expensive tickets.
Are you sure you will wait a whole year? New home? New pup?

Love your little snippets! Gives me a Birdseye view.

About the hill: once you start doing it, you'll look back and wonder how you were ever winded walking up it!
I can't believe the super Bowl tickets are that much! How in the World does anybody go? I was bummed that the Packers lost that game...I was really pulling for a Small Towner to get to go, but he is playing in the Pro Bowl!

I am not into sports so ....it is just another day but the prices of the tickets is nuts! Koda will always be with you and it is hard. I miss my Katie and was thinking of her yesterday and how she would come to me. She has been gone for 1 1/2 yrs now and I miss her

My husband concurs with you about the Green Packers! As for the ticket price, we had no idea. I guess that's an item we can remove from our bucket list. :-)

Sorry about Koda. I lost my Lucy cat a year ago and still miss her. Along with my guinea pigs and my dogs of childhood. So many companions have passed.

I hadn't heard of the A-Z challenge before. Good luck!

...I am sorry to hear about Koda... I will miss your stories about his adventures...

... and I think that the Super Bowl is out of many people's range... now if you want to speak about the 1% ... there is an event that is catered just to them..!

The Pack will be back. ;)

Was cheering for the Pack myself.

Some questionable ref calls in a lot of games - I probably won't watch the "stupor bowl".

Wow! How crazy that Super Bowl tix are that expensive. I had no idea ...

Thanks for the heads-up about the A-Z blogging challenge. I want to be further ahead this year - although I seem to work best flying by the seat of my pants, LOL.

Loved your letters, Betty. I miss your stories about his adventures. I get to enjoy a quiet house the first half of the day with hubby at work, Josh in college and Rodney in school.

I cannot imagine paying that much for any one event!!! WOW!

Isn't a quite house nice sometimes?

I am still not going to discuss the Packer game. I had a horrible time watching the Superbowl this year. The Packers SHOULD have been there. Ridiculous.

Enjoy your quiet house! Silence is indeed golden.
