short, but long

Koda likes to spend time sleeping in son's bathroom.  Usually he sleeps against the walls or against the bath tub.  Today I walked by and saw him sleeping like this.

That was a new position for him.

He may have short legs, but he really is long.

Door to wall, no room to spare.

I think he was barricading the door.

I don't think he likes being kicked out of the bathroom when son wants in there.

Which raises the question, whose bathroom is it really?

(thanks for all the anniversary best wishes, now go out and enjoy the weekend!)

He’s got himself a headboard and footboard. Probably makes him feel secure in someway. But I bet you’re exactly right. He is barricading the door to his bathroom!

Too cute!

It's raining here, so no going outside.

Obviously Koda's bathroom! Fun photo.

Enjoying peak colors and transitioning to next season's weather.

I'd say that it is definitely not your son's bathroom. That is probably the short of the long of it. Hope you have a wonderful weekend.

You come up with some great posts. I guess that is why we all enjoy a visit and enjoy the Bench With A View.

What a sweetie!
Suppose with Koda's failing eyesight he feels more secure like that?

This probably sounds silly, but my favorite spot to snooze is our old loveseat where my head and feet are each touching the ends.

It's Koda's bathroom! Your son will have to just accommodate him and leave the door open:)

You know what's funny? My parents' corgi did that EXACT same thing!!! He passed away earlier this year and now they've adopted a brand new corgi puppy. He's ADORABLE!!! Here's a picture. I don't know if this will come through but I'm trying anyway.

I am laughing out loud - oh yes I am! Koda is such a kick! Definitely making a statement about marking out his turf! :-)

I think the bathroom is Koda's, and he lovingly (when he feels like it!) loans it out to your son!

XO

Reminds me of my dog who now has decided to follow me to the bathroom and stays there all the time.

I ask a similar question about my twin bed and my dog. WHOSE BED IS IT ANYWAY! Before my husband died and before Hospice came with the hospital bed, the three of us slept in a king-sized bed. I think my dog would grieve if he didn't sleep with me.

Our beloved dog (long since passed away) always loved to stretch out and sleep in the busiest area of our living space. Why?? I think they just want to make sure they aren't neglected and want to remind us of how important they are to the family! ;) Love the pic!

It is amazing how much room a little dog like this can take up, we have a dachshund that seems to grow to St. Bernard size when bedtime rolls around ha ha

I have a new blog address if you would like to drop by, would love to see you there.

Clearly, it is Koda's property.

Yep - I think at least the doorway is Koda's!! He probably feels safe here knowing exactly where he is -
