he never....

....ceases to amaze me where he will wedge himself.

He got a clean bill of health from the vet today.

He only had to wear the cone of shame for one night.  He seemed to catch on and stopped scratching the next day.  Hubby tied a little bandana around his neck the next day after the cone of shame and that helped him not to scratch. He's healing up pretty well.

Remember when I said the cliff hanger about a month ago?  I promise, an update soon.  If not this weekend, then next Monday.  Things are coming together, they just aren't quite there yet.  Hang in there.

In the meantime, is anyone else other than me dreading the time change this weekend? I love the extra hour of sleep, but not the early hours of darkness.

They are smart little guys, learn to cone thing quickly.

haha I don't know why they like to do that! He is so cute! I know you were very relieved about the clean bill of health! Thank You, Jesus!

He looks like he is hiding, although I know that's not the case. Glad it was good news from the vet.

My Rico is a strange one, I think. He doesn’t like to be under or behind anything.

I am not looking forward to the time change. Especially here in NJ. It means winter is coming.

So glad Koda got a clean bill of health! It does look like he is hiding there. The time change always signifies shorter days and I'm not liking that for sure. I'll be looking forward to hearing about your cliff hanger,

Hiding behind the suitcase. I LOVE it!!! So adorable! Yay to a clean bill of health, as well. My dog is all snuggled up next to my leg as I type this, fast asleep. Dogs=happiness!

haha he looks quite comfy there. Glad he got the clean bill of health. I don't mind this time change at all, hate the other one though

I'm so glad Koda got a clean bill of health. What a cozy place he found for a nap. Dodger likes to be in the middle of the floor or the middle of a bed.

Glad Koda is doing better. Great photo of him snuggling up to the suitcase. My husband does not do well with the darkness coming earlier. I love it.

I'm like you, not crazy about early darkness - although I do love candlelight and snuggling up in an afghan on the couch, which is what I do on long winter evenings. So, I'll get used to it.

Stay forward, stay back, stop the switching.

I'm always amazed at where dogs go and squeeze themselves too. I think it makes them feel safe.

Fun photo, wonder if he'd have gone in if suitcase was unzipped! Thankful for Koda's clean bill of health! Cone coulda been modified for cool Halloween costume (:

I know, I know (holding up my hand) Koda wants to go on vacation. Has suitcase WILL travel!!!
Good update, thanks.

STILL WAITING though!!!
Love from the other side.

I've been gone for a few days and read the news. It is always scary when we see something regarding our animals but I am so glad Koda is OK. It is always unnerving. I hope his parents are feeling better:) The Elizabethan collar only had to be worn a short time...poor thing. Glad all is getting better

Chatty Crone said...

I wish the time would just stay the same - either way - but I don't like the change.

That Koda is so cute. You know Disco needs one of those collars - he scratches himself during this allergy season so bad.

So glad he got a clean bill of health!!! YAY!!!

I agree with you about the time change - I love the extra sleep, but the dark really gets to me.

Hooray for a clean bill of health! The Spring time change messes me up a whole lot worse that the Fall. I plan on enjoying that extra hour of sleep!

Koda reminds me of a cat. Won't it be lighter in the morning? Sunrise an hour earlier?

Oh, Koda makes me laugh. He reminds me so much of our beloved pet from the past. So funny!
I'm not sure why we have to continue with time changes. I dislike when it gets dark so early. Makes me want to hibernate for about 4 months.

Happy to hear about Koda's clean bill of health. I'm not looking forward to the time change either. I like the bright days of summer.

Hooooray for Koda! I know you and your hubs are so relieved, Betty.

Ya, I'm definitely in the minority, but I sort of like this time of year - waking and driving in the dark.

PS - Looking forward to your much-anticipated reveal. :)

I'm looking forward to the time change--I'll get to go to work after dawn instead of before! There's just something so wrong about seeing a sunrise while driving to work.

Maybe he wants to go on a trip since the cone is gone :)

I think they should leave the time alone, AZ doesn't participate in the daylight savings time thing, I say good idea to just leave the time where it should be.

I am glad that Koda is okay. I don't like the time change (although being lighter in the mornings will be better for the kids) Why can't they just leave it the same all the time.

I think with his blindness - he wants to feel secure and safe - I am so happy he got a clean bill of health!!

The cliff hanger is hanging on! :)

I think they should stop messing with the clocks - there is no need for it anymore - we have electricity.

I dread the time change, too. And wait anxiously for it to change back in March. I absolutely hate losing that extra hour of evening light. Hate it.

Glad Koda is well and healing! I'm not looking forward to this time change. I hate that it's darker at night and soon it will be dark in the AM too. At work when it's 3pm my body says it's really 4pm and I'm soooo ready to head for home!

Inger said...

I'm so glad he's doing well. I am right now enjoying the morning light and know I won't mind the darkness arriving an hour earlier. It feels cozy and wintry, which I love.

I love the extra hour, but Chase, our greyhound, takes a while to adjust. He still wakes up at his usual time (what's meant to be 5 a.m. is now 4!)

Koda is so cute! I don't think dogs much like suitcases...unless it means they're going too!

So glad he is feeling better. They say that dogs can get sick just like humans so maybe he just had a stomach virus or something. ??
