Yacht

Very close to the end of A/Z

Y - Yacht

I think I could live on this.  Not sure how Koda would like it though.  We have seen and heard dogs barking on boats, so who knows, he might like it.  What do you think? Knowing what you know about Koda or have learned about Koda during this challenge, do you think he would like living in a boat? What would be the one motivating factor that would convince him living in a boat would be a good thing?

One more letter to go.

Oh, I agree. Definitely could live on that....just don't know how long though. Nice when weather is good, not so when it gets stormy. Hurray...almost to the end of a-z!!

You. Dogs like to be where YOU are. Koda would follow you to the ends of the earth.

I think it would be too confining.

As Carol said as Koda wants to be where you are. So if you were living on a boat, that’s where Koda would want to be.

The only thing, if you were out to sea, Koda would miss his walks!

My guess would be if there is plenty of food around, Koda would be happy being wherever you were. I love the beach but have never done much boating at all. I think I'd prefer sitting in the sand.

I could see Koda being a sea dawg!

I've seen other Corgi's living on boats and quite happy about it. :)

Perhaps lots of good snacks would convince Koda to live on a Yacht. Or simply the fact that you live on one might.

No yard to chase cats from, yeah he may not like it so much

The water is far down and wet. He might like being aboard better.

I agree with those who say with you and his food Koda would be happy anywhere.

My brother and his wife spent several years on a 40 ft. sailboat sailing up and down the coast and to various islands. They had a cocker spaniel and the dog loved the boat.

They did have to row ashore a lot.

Koda would probably want to go for walks, if he lived on the yacht, so it might work out. I do wonder if he would like going out to sea, though. Some dogs have lived their entire lives on ships, so they are more sea dogs than land dogs.

I would love to live on the boat. As long as we never went to sea (I get seasick) and I would bet that Koda prefers land....almost to the end of the challenge!!

I don't think I could live on a boat long term, but short term would be fun.

I think my dog would share the same opinion -- short term he'd be good with it, but maybe not for too very long LOL

Oh how wonderful to be on this boat for a while at least. I think Koda could get used to it:)

Having lived on boats for a large chunk of my life, we had dogs on board and cats. All Koda would need is you. I am not sure the yacht in your picture would be big enough for a permanent residence, it doesn't look very long.

I would love to live on a boat. But Koda? I don't know. Only if you weren't at sea too much so Koda could get out for long walks.

For some reason, when I saw that picture of the yacht, I thought of the Millionaire's yacht on Gilligan's Island ... you know where they ended up ...

I agree with the other commenters who feel Koda would want to be wherever you are.

When we found our dog, she was staying on a boat. The owner couldn't keep her anymore--he was working 14-hour days. She didn't seem to mind it, though. If he'd been home more often, she probably would have liked it. The only bad thing about life on a boat is--what do you do when it storms?

I have been enjoying these so much. Such creativity, it makes you look at the world around you a little differently. :)

I think it would depend on how big the boat was. If it was big enough for him to run around a bit he would probably enjoy it. Plus he could investigate all sorts of new places when you docked.

The yacht is lovely to look at, but I'm more comfortable living on land. Stopping over from Lura's with A to Z good wishes.

I don't know if Koda would like it! He won't be able to walk. Does he like the beach, or boats?

: )

Well it is near his stomping grounds but he would probably miss the car ride. I know I would love to try living on that yacht!

Maybe a dog treat filled pantry! But I think he prefers the status quo.

He would probably be fine... but how would he see over the edge with his short little legs, lol... and he would need a life jacket for safety... :)

Going out on a limb here ... but I'm guessing if Koda lived on a yacht that means his 'parents' were millionaires; and that means you'd give him filet mignon each night ... or perhaps a juicy BONE-in ribeye. :)

Not a whole lot of room for a dog to get exercise on a boat but as long as you dock often I'm sure Koda would be happy to be anywhere you are.
I could definitely live on a yacht. For a little while, anyway. :)

I could live on one temporarily, but I'd like to have a home on a foundation to come back to every so often. But, my dogs? I can't see that happening!
