fishing

Continuing with A to Z (theme, pictures where we walk Koda, come back for letter K if you don't know who Koda is, but I'll give you a little hint, he's a very spoiled dog)

Before we get to the ever popular letter F please accept my apologies, I might have forgotten to say that in the challenge, we take Sundays off and don't post a letter, so we post the 26 letters of the alphabet Mondays through Saturdays in April. Forgive me if I caused any confusion and you were looking for a post on Sunday for the letter F.

And now without further wait is the Fun letter of F.

F - Fishing

People like to fish either here along the rocks or from boats. I'm not sure if they catch anything, but we do see quite a few fishermen (and fisherwomen).

F is also for flag; wouldn't you love to have a boat like this? I think I would.

And this was just downright frightening.

Not sure what was more frightening, the skeletons in the back seat or the price of this vehicle that is on sale.  It is a 1949 Plymouth.  Any guesses how much it was listed for? (Answer tomorrow)

(yes, that is my shadow in this picture :)

Oh my that is a scary skeleton! I'm going to pretend I'm on The Price Is Right and guess $14,000.

I'm probably way off, lol. I know less than nothing about "classic" cars or fishing, or other traditional guy stuff that a father or older brother would have taught me. I would love to own a boat like that one day and take my daughters out fishing :)

When I was in nurses training. we had a couple of station wagons that looked just like that with the wood on the sides. We'd take turns being the driver to get the students from the dorm to the hospital. I thought they were classy and neat to drive.

Love the boats. But the car was downright charming, skeletons and all.

I loved seeing all the boats. I thought I'd seen most everything, but never a car with a skeleton in it. Unique way to advertise!

I like the skeletons in the back - that's funny.

What in the world? You'd probably get ticketed here for parking a car with skeletons in the back seat! 'Creating a public nuisance'

$40,000 for the car?

The shadow knows, how about $30,000. Ditto on the skeletons, I don't even like them on t-shirts. I'm sure enthusiasts are looking forward to the fishing opener here in May.

My husband went fishing yesterday. I can't sit still long enough to fish!

Fishing bores me, plus the flies are just annoying. Some skeleton fun too haha the cat doesn't like those

Love this entry. Especially the Plymouth. My guess, $12,500. for the asking price (Probably a little more if you get the skeletons. LOL)

Oh wow--those skeleton passengers would've given me a good jolt :D Aside from Mr. Creepy Vintage Car Owner (no clue about the $, but I'm sure it's going to be shocking--I'll be back tomorrow to find out), this looks like a great place to walk Koda!

Thanks for stopping over at Life In Dogs , and I hope you had a fantastic weekend :)

I think the Woodie was between $1,150 and $1,626 when new!! :)

I'm guessing $55,000 now.

I hope those fisher-persons catch something (at least now and then!)

You have such a beautiful place to walk Koda! I love the ocean views.

Just about my entire family enjoys fishing. :) I know I would enjoy that boat. :)

I have said this before but it is so beautiful there by the water. I have a love of the ocean (probably since we are in the middle of the US and no oceans are close)and beaches. I am going to guess 80,000 for the car and I think the skeletons are cool. Did Koda bark at them?

I think that car is called a "Woody" and there were only around 3,000 of them ever produced. I bet it is high, high dollar. Can't wait to see the answer

When we were college students my hubby fished to provide us food. We ate a ton of trout. He doesn't fish anymore but has fond memories of it. I think you are blessed to live so near the ocean. I wish we did.
I bet the woody is $50,000. Have a great day

Fishing is FUN! My hubby loves to go fishing - his favorite is stream-fishing for trout.

And, I love that car! Someone with a great sense of humor had a very clever idea to advertise!

I'm terrible at guessing - but I'll say $25,000. It's in great shape.

I like to fish. I haven't got a clue on the price of that car but I have seen more people with weird things in their cars around beach/water areas then I ever see anywhere else!

Oh my goodness I was looking and looking and I thought I saw a skeleton and then you said so - that was weird.

You inspire me to notice Fun things, or Fishy things, or Flags.

Sometimes I notice Flat tires, but am not good at helping sometime Fix them.

Hugs,

That marina is beautiful. I love boats. It's been a while since I've been on one. That car is nice too although I doubt that skeleton is an effective selling point.

Loving the photos that you are posting. I think the skeletons would be more frightening as I know the price of the car wouldn't be cheap. My guess for the car is $29,000.

Never fished anywhere like that. Always on a river. Seldom anyone else around.

Paula's right -- that's a woody! My best friend in h.s. ('66-'68) had a Morris Minor woody that was old at the time - so stinkin' ugly it was cute!
Suppose those plastic skeletons (I HOPE to God they're plastic!) are there to deter theft? I'd sure think twice!

Cute entry, Betty!

Are we playing Price Is Right rules, where the contestant who bids closest to the actual retail price without going over, wins? I'll bid $27,500.

Fishing reminds me of my late brother, who loved fishing more than almost anything else.

1,000,000 dollars! Lol, ya I forgot that you are supposed to take Sundays off. I accidentally posted on Sunday and wondered why nobody else had, oops! : )

Isn't it amazing how you can be a zillion miles away, and your scenery often looks like Alabama? Especially the fisher folks!

If I were going to have a water vehicle, I'd want a wave runner or something like that. Love them!

Yolanda Renee said...

I like fly fishing but that can be done from the bank - no boats for me.

Yeah, I'm behind on my comments - just catching up! LOL

Linda :) said...

I haven't been fishing since I was a kid growing up in Texas....
I love the skeletons!!! :)

What is it about boats in the harbor that is so pretty and calming? Those skeletons are pretty weird. Wonder if anybody will ever buy that car?
