Announcing A/Z Theme
With much fanfare (drum roll........), I am pleased to announce my theme for the 2014 A to Z Challenge starting April 1, 2014.
(Really, it is not that big of a deal of a theme, but got to build it up a bit)
This is my 3rd year for signing up for A/Z. The first year I signed up really late in March and really had no idea what I was getting into. Didn't really plan my posts and winged it a lot from day to day what to write about.
Last year I signed up the first day I could and had pretty much all my posts written, but withdrew because it was a stressful family time. I deleted all the posts (which I regret since some of them had some really good thoughts that I can't seem to recreate as hard as I try) . Learned my lesson not to delete, LOL.
This year I decided to go with a very simple theme. It came to me even before I had 100% committed to doing the challenge. I just started snapping pictures and wondered if I could actually get 26 letters of items from A to Z from one certain place.
Between my husband and me, who is really so more creative than me and does take better pictures than I do, we were able to pull it off and get 26 pictures. Some of them are a stretch but still fit within the theme of A/Z. Only one actually didn't come from this particular area and I'll tell which one when we get to it.
So without further ado, I announce our theme for A/Z 2014:
Pictures taken from where we walk Koda down by the boat dock close to where we live. Its funny, it is an area that is man built and further development of the area is going to be happening in the years to come. Its not a big stretch of land but pretty. Beautiful sunsets. Pleasant breezes to walk Koda even on the hottest of days.
And 26 pictures of things from there. Not all the pictures were taken when we were walking Koda. Some were taken on our weekend car rides with Koda (yes he is that spoiled). The period of time they were taken was about from October through the first part of March.
Not many words, just pictures, maybe a few lines of explanation.
I hope you enjoy.
