a corgi selfie

Lately, Koda has been really enjoying getting as close to me as possible while I'm working, sometimes being right by my foot pedal or to the right or left of where my chair is.  Its been challenging sometimes to work around him.  Today he literally came between my two legs and rested his face on my chair leg.  So I got the camera and rested it on the floor right by him and snapped this picture (okay I snapped 4 other pictures but this is the only one he didn't look away for, he just doesn't like getting his picture taken).

Now I think it would be terribly uncomfortable, but he laid there for about 15 minutes.  I was glad hubby came back from an errand because my legs needed to stretch but I had no room to stretch without bumping into him.

And in case there are any cat lovers out there, here's two of the stray cats that like to hang around here.  They haven't invaded our backyard a lot so I'm sort of live and let live with them right now.  On Valentine's Day, their mother was up with them on this shed (the house behind us).  She was in the middle and one cat was on each side of her.  It was an adorable picture if I could have gotten the picture, but when I went inside to get my camera, when I came back out the mother cat got up and left so there went that photo op.

One more week before I announce my theme for A/Z.  Not too late to sign up for the challenge if you want to.  Here's a hint below.  (Anyone spot the heron in the tree?) (Herons are part of the theme, but not the whole theme).

What a sweet picture. LOVE Koda's selfie. And the kitties are cute as pie.

It's possible those cats will adopt you. I had one do that and Bandit moved with me and another cat when I came to Plant City to marry my current husband. Both cats died now. Our current dog does not like any cats that invade our back yard and so none seem to stay long.

My dogs always like to sleep on top my feet when I'd be sitting. Usually where ever I went in the house there they were. I can't tell you how many times one was stepped on by mistake because I didn't realize just how close behind me they were. I also had a cat that stuck to me like glue, She hop on my shoulder and stay put. I do miss them all but now don't have any. They are such great companionship. I'll be looking forward to seeing your a-z posts!

Sweet pictures! Koda is adorable, and I love how the kittens are all cuddled together. Thanks for the Saturday smile. ☺

So now you have a dog and two cats - even if you didn't intend it!

That's a very talented Corgi to take a selfie. Ha
My Cody is needy too. Even when she's lying down, her eyes follow me around the house. Kinda spooky-like. She was the runt of a litter of nine so I guess perhaps she is insecure.
Your dog is beautiful and I love those little Corgis.

Love the photos- furry cuteness, Koda's expressive eyes. Wonder if my mom's attachment to feral cats is part of reason she doesn't seem to want to sell house. Looking forward to A-Z, more herons, and open water like that here.

KODAis so cute. My cat gets mad at me being on the computer and lies across the keyboard then gets fiesty if you try to move him.

I feel bad for unwanted, stray animals. It's a hard life as a feral animal.
Our dogs would come for their pets, then lie down on the sewing machine table and sleep.

It is very sweet that Koda wanted to be so close to you. That is a really good picture.

It is always a joy to see an alert for the Bench. I know I will get some good info, advice or a smile. I am never disappointed.
Peaceful is Koda's look.
Neat shot of the cats.

I love the nautical look from the park along with the Heron.

Love from this side of the coin.

That's a great shot of your little buddy! Love Koda's sweet face!
Our pups love to wrap themselves around our feet while (we're) at the computer ... tricky, isn't it, trying to move and not squash someone?

Have a great weekend!

haha fun shots indeed. When they get right up by you hard to move for sure, as they seem comfy. Never spotted anything, I'm blind I guess

Oh Koda - what a precious boy! I've missed seeing photos of him, so this was great! Marty likes to get closer to me and my son nowadays, too. And sometimes, it does make moving difficult! Especially when he shares a chair with me!!

Love the photos - and yes, I found the heron!

Good to hear from you, Betty! GOD BLESS!

Love the selfie! That's a sweet picture of the cats. Wow, he is way up there. Well it's either birds, trees, the sky or the harbor or it could just be a view! Love your header picture. Hope your weekend is going well.

LOL, I love the animal pics! Those cat's looked happy and so does Koda!

Are those cat's strays? They look to be well fed and healthy. Does your neighbor take care of them?

Great idea for A/Z. Is it going to be about animals, or birds?
: )

Koda's such a cutie- I can imagine he is such a cuddler. The kitties and birds were a treat to see, also!

Koda is very cute! My cat Buddy thinks he owns whatever he decides to sleep on, including my legs while I'm sleeping! Even if I move and squirm, he doesn't get the hint. So, I usually just accommodate him. I'm his human, after all. ;)

sweet pic of Koda. :=) So happy to be close to you. I'm doing the a=z, but have no theme. My brain has to be free to grab whatever when I get stuck. I think "themers" are probably more disciplined!

I love the pictures of those two sweet cats. I ended up adopting a little black cat I named Irina because she had been abandoned in the apartment complex, and I felt so bad for her. That is great you are picking a theme for our A to Z Challenge, but I guess I am boring because the theme of mine is just about the art projects I work on. Anyway, I am just getting head start on commenting on everyone below me on the list, so I will look forward to seeing what you post during the challenge. Sweetbearies Art Projects

*raises hand* (any cat lovers out there)
this reminded me of our
Lil Miss White Cat
when I was on the computer
I'd look down
she'd be lookin' up at me
then, she'd jump in my lap
just lay there for a lil visit
I miss her

I spotted him!
Love the corgi photo. I miss my Cardigan...lost in a divorce.

Going to follow your A-Z if only for the Corgi pics.

That is the cutest pic of Koda! My dog gets under my desk, but I'm not as nice as you, he usually gets bumped a little.
