purely unintentional, I think

.........I don't know how this happened......

but I ran out of room when I was putting the candy in the bowl to hand out on Halloween........

and I couldn't fit in the bag of my favorite candy......

you don't think I planned it like this

Or do you?

Of course I would want to share my favorite candy with the trick or treaters that come by on Halloween, even if it is only two trick or treaters like we got last year.

I would NEVER want a whole bag of candy to myself.......

Or would I?

(I really will share this bag of candy and find a way to make room for it in the bowl)

(maybe........)

(be safe if you are in Sandy's path)

A little extra just in case never hurt anyone. I'm sure you'd share if push came to shove.

We run away on Trick or treat night (last night). We had several for one year, and almost none for a few years after that, so we quit. We used to turn out the lights and stay home, but we just had to listen to the doorbell and people pounding on the door for two hours, even though they were instructed not to stop if the front porch light was not on. I hate Halloween. Bah, humbug!

Yes,
I know you would! :) And I join in your prayers for those in Sandy's path~

It's always better to have to much than not enough so good for you. I hope you can enjoy it as well

Hershey's with almonds is one of my favorties, so no way would it fit in that bowl! LOL
Prayers to everyone in Sandy's path.

With us, it's the Reeces peanut butter cups. :) We are ready for the storm, so far so good. The worst of the winds should be between 12 and 9 tonight so I'm hoping to be home from work around 2.

Fingers crossed.

I always get some of my favorite trick or treat candy. I hang on to it and will give it out if I run out of the other but most of the time I have left over...all for me. I don't need it at all but it's a game I play every year.

I don't know, looks like plenty of room left in that bowl to me...

The key is to get an extra bag of your favorites. :-)

I just hope there is some of the Halloween candy I bought left in the bowl by the time Halloween gets here. :)
Wishing the best for everyone in the path of the storm.

I deliberately do not buy candy that I like lest I end up making sure that a bag just can't make it to the candy bowl. ha!

You probably will share it - half for you and half for them. I thought you were going to say Koda got it! sandie

Purely unintentional... I mean, the other candies take up so much more room and you could fit more of the others... besides, with all the other opportunities to get candy, who is going to know if one house didn't give out their Hershey bars..?

I love to get the candy the day after that is on clearance. So, if you give up your favorite you can go buy more for 75% off :)

Tooo funny, Betty!

Um, cancel that. Sounds an awful lot like I'm presuming you did this on purpose! (hee-hee.)

My hubby loves shopping for/handing out HIS favorite treats: One for you, one for me, one for you, two for me........

I don't think we're ever "too old" for Halloween, do you?

I have hidden the candy in our house. Luckily it is not calling my name.

I have those, too LOL. I need them for my smore treat bags, though!!

haha! I know you didn't plan that! oh, no, no!

Of course, if you had put them in first... no, never mind.

Sandy is knocking on our door this night. I hope it doesn't ruin our halloween. I will be stuck with a lot of candy if it does. Can I ship it to you? ;-)

I always have a stash in my closet anyway..

I have a very strict candy sharing policy when it comes to Halloween. One for them, two for me.

LOL -- I hate when those unintentional things happen. ;)

I just bought some candy today. mmmm hersheys. yum

I'm sure it was unintentional; just like the fact that not all of our ring pops fit in our bowl. :-) Besides, you need a stash of good stuff in case kids you know come by.

Oh I am smiling because somehow this always seems to happen to me! But like you, I simply have no idea how! Have a happy and safe Halloween.:)

Don't you just hate it when that happens? It seems to happen here on Halloween, too. We always have a ton of my favorite candies, and yet haven't had a single trick or treater in close to ten years. lol

I told my hubby to pick up a SMALL bag of candy just in case we have one or two trick-or-treaters this year. Our neighborhood has a million kiddos, but our block does not. Two years ago, we had a total of THREE kids stop by. I was trying to balance being prepared with not wanting a bunch of extra calories in the house. Chocolate is my Achilles Heel.

So it makes perfect sense that Trevor showed up last night with FOUR BIG BAGS of deliriously yummy brand name chocolate. Unless we give out a bag per trick-or-treater, Trevor has successfully discovered a way around my if-we-don’t-have-it-in-the-house-than-we-won’t-eat-it rule.

Darn him (said with Reese’s peanut butter on my lips).

Pure coincidence, I'm sure! It looks like you are planning on a lot of little spooks coming your way! Happy Halloween!

It is funny how that one bag of your favorite candy just will not fit into the bowl :)

We always had tons of trick or treaters and loved seeing each one, since we moved here nearly four years ago, we have not had one at all, right now one would be a blessing and most likely get a bag full of candy because my wife has a bowl sitting by just in case.

Haha! Did you enjoy your candy Betty? I had my candy all ready for trick or treaters but because of Sandy, ours has been rescheduled to Saturday night. Will there be anything left by then?? Hmmm I'm thinking maybe not.
