Unbelievable

Eight months from today will be Christmas Eve!! Can you believe how fast this year is going already? Almost a third of it gone!

Anyone start their shopping yet? Anyone done with it?

It will be here before we know it.

Unbelievable!!

(it has recently come to my attention that some of my comments I leave are not showing up on people's blogs; I've had it happen for at least three if not more blogs that I faithfully have left comments on over the past few months. I have no idea what is going on; some get notification in the email that I have left a comment but the comment is not on their blog; I've gone back and checked and sure enough my comment is not there, though I know I've left a comment. Very frustrating! I'm sure it is a blogger issue. So if I had faithfully commented before and all of a sudden I haven't do forgive me because chances are I have been commenting and for whatever reason they aren't showing up. I hope blogger gets its act together and takes care of this problem, because I can't imagine I'm the only one having this problem).

(we're so close to finishing this challenge! Thanks for sticking with me! Fellow challenge people, hang on, the end is in sight. We can do this!!!!)

No, no Christmas shopping done here at my house. I usually make most of my gifts and that won't begin until around July. I have so many gifts to give that I may have to start earlier this year. My family is getting larger and larger and by Christmas time we'll have added 2 more. I do get your comments so all is ok in that respect. Hope your Tuesday is a terrific one!

Sometimes, for some unknown reason, comments get thrown into the spam folder by blogger. Maybe those people could check theirs and see if that's where your comments are, especially if they've gotten a notification. It's happened to me-

I don't intend to do any Christmas shopping for several months yet ... I don't even think about it until at least November 1. ;-)

I have had the same problem with comments I left not showing up. I have also found some comments in my spam that weren't spam.
It will be a while before I think about Christmas shopping, but I know that time will fly by.

Time does fly but haven't thought that far ahead! (Just took down Easter decor last week.)Sorry about the comment problem. Bet you're loving the creative A-Z writing, it's the deadline that's the challenging part!

Christmas always sneaks up on me. It seems that just about every year, I don't get around to shopping until mid-December. I should start shopping now, though. I'm sure doing so would make my life easier come December.

Wow, 8 months! No shopping here. Of course, it feels like Christmas time weather wise. We have been running the heat for the past two days! Brrrrrrrrrr

Lol! I haven't but, some of my dad's customers have.

You should tell them to look in their spam folder that's where I find my missing comments sometimes. : )

I guess its about time for them to move up decorating the stores right after the 4th of July... I mean... they are almost to that point anyway.

:) Soon maybe it will wrap around... you know, buy gifts in November or December this year for NEXT year's holiday...

Kind of like the Presidential elections..

I swear the years go faster and faster. My mom was just telling me that, too.
Your comments have been showing up on mine, I think. I will go and look. Blogger has been really touchy and glitchy lately.

CHRISTMAS EVE, wow. Only 8 months away. That is mind boggling. I NEVER take down my CHRISTMAS TREE so I'm good to go. LOL I wanted to tell you that the comment you posted on my blog about the bunnies ended up in my SPAM folder. Do NOT know why? I think these problems are caused by the new format. They FORCED me to change over to it today by disconnecting the old one. I'll be lucky if I ever post again. CHANGE drives me BONKERS. take care.

Maybe people are not realizing what they have to do to publish the comment. If you leave a comment on a blog that needs moderation, blogger still sends an email, but you have to physically go to the blog, log in, and go to the comment section to publish. The PUBLISH link used to be in the notification email. It made it so easy. Now it's not. I don't like the new way.

Time slips by too fast! I did have a comment to disappear, too. Only one that I know of, but I don't comment too much...lol

I don't plan to think about Christmas shopping until November.

I've had a few people who have commented and the comment alert emails have gone to spam and don't appear on my blog. It's all something to do with the switch to the new format I'm sure ::sigh::

Christmas? Don't even start that kind of talk yet! :P

PS - Read over your post, I think you are having some kind of "l" issue with your computer.

I've started giving a homemade gift and a cheque to adults if they're family, a homemade gift and a shop-brought gift to a couple of close friends, and a homemade gift and a treat to kids, so I've had to start making things. I've made what I'm giving my Dad, my Mam, my Grandma, one of my brothers, and one of the few friends I send to. I also brought a gift for the same friend, but only because it was in a clearance sale for only £1.25 (about $2) and I think the person will really like it, and didn't want to miss out on getting it. So I need to make things for my Nan, my other brother, Dad's new girlfriend, my brother's girlfriend, another couple of friends, my hubby, Emma-Jane and Harrison. Then I need to buy something for the other friends and decide on and buy the treats for Emma-Jane and Harrison. I started doing it this way last year. Partially because we all agreed to it so as to save a bit of money, partially because I like taking the time to make something for people; shows I put serious thought in to what they get. Officially we all agreed - with how far we are from each other, so to save postage costs - to just hand out cheques, but I added the homemade items the past couple of years, and people loved it, so I'm doing it again.

I also need to decide who I'm sending cards to so I can start making them in a couple of months, because I want to post them out towards the end of November to make sure they all get where they're going in time.

It seems that when one cyber problem is solved, another pops up.

I was thinking the same thing today. I really do hope to start a little earlier. Last yr I waited & like to try to be on the up side of it all.
It is hard to believe.

I haven't even begun to think about shopping.
I am trying to get to summer and Christmas means back to winter.

Unbelievable! Your blog doesn't show up in my blog roll anymore, even though I have put it there several times. Christmas? Not a thought to even thinking about it!

Have a wonderful day.

Wow time does fly! I want to start early. I am going to make my granddaughter some dress up clothes for her trunk. She has outgrown the others I made a couple of years ago. Thanks for the reminder.
until next time... nel

My guess is that it may be a blogger issue on the comments.
Yes the year is flying by again!
Actually I have a few Christmas gifts already but just because some great sales fell into my lap.
I certainly do not want to think about Christmas yet. Have a nice evening. Debby
