Easter Eggs

                                                                  Easter Eggs!!!

Our church is planning to hide 1500 eggs for their annual egg hunt; said I would bring 250 filled ones. We got candy, stickers and bouncy balls to put inside the eggs. Snickers has this new candy out that I hadn't seen before called Snickers Peanutbutter.

Oh my gosh! We got some of them to stuff in the eggs. They were delicious. They were also very addictive......enough said about that, LOL.

Anyway, I had son stuff the eggs for me, paid him for his time. That way I could stay away from the candy (I did have a few pieces, but not as much as if I had done all the eggs myself).

They are all done now, ready to go to church on Sunday. I'll help with hiding the eggs, which will take about an hour to hide all 1500 eggs. You can imagine it takes less than that for the kids to find them once the hunt begins!

I've got some eggs I need to get stuffed for an egg hunt here for my grnadkids on Sunday.....but not nearly as many as you did.
It is hard to resist the candy that goes in them, but I try to use other stuff too so there isn't too much candy.

Ah ha, imagine cracking an egg and finding a Snickers Bar! I know the kids will enjoy the hunt, and great the church will have this outlet for them.
Happy Easter time to you also.

So sweet of you to work on the eggs for church. Have a wonderful time.

I am very interested in that new candy. Snickers were always my favorite candy and then PB cups became my favorite. What could be better than this new candy bar for me?

That's a LOT of eggs! I hadn't seen the PBSnickers. I have to stay away from chocolate, too, or it finds their way into my mouth so easily it's frightening! ;)

Good-goobadee-gob! 1500 eggs is uh-lot of eggs!

I'll have to try that Snickers peanut butter...two of my favorite things in one!

Where'd you get the eggs?

Bouncy Balls is a great idea. I need to get some for our eggs!

This is the one time of year I am so tempted by candy that it hurts. So far I've only bought it, but haven't eaten any. YET.

I saw those snickers in the drug store, and immediately bought it and devoured it. Chocolate plus peanut butter is my addiction! :)

I remember staying up late until after the kids went to bed to start hiding the eggs. As they got older it got harder and harder to stay up later than they did - but somehow I pulled it off with all 3 of my kids until the last was in his teens without getting caught :)
Have fun Betty and Happy Easter!

Easter Egg hunts are so much fun. We used to have them all the time when our daughters were growing up. 1500 is alot of eggs full of candy. Lots of hard work stuffing them, for sure. The children will be delighted to find them. I wish you and yours a very HAPPY EASTER. ENJOY. take care.

that is a lot of eggs!
my husband's mom used to hide 300 for the kids to find but there were always some they would find many months later (she hid them over 4 of her 20 acres)
I still need to finish my boys' baskets but the Rolos and Cadburys are calling me!
